Alocasia Black Ebony 6''
She may be sassy but she sure is sweet to have around. This lady will bring you straight to the tropics. It’s like a vacation every time you look at her.
Light: She loves bright indirect light but make sure to avoid direct sunlight or her leaves may burn. We know she’s from the tropics but she has to protect her skin! Medium light is okay but she thrives in brighter spaces.
Water: Get your plant mister out because humidity is your best friend here! She needs a good misting every couple of days. You can’t have the tropics without rain so make sure she stays hydrated. Her soil should always be damp but never soaked. It’s okay if you forget to water her once in a blue moon. Tip: An ideal spot for humidity would be in your bathroom or kitchen.
Toxicity: She’s friendly but if you eat her she’s mildly toxic to pets and humans.
Repotting Needs: She should be re-homed after the first year and then again every year after that. It’s the perfect opportunity to get that cute new planter you’ve been eyeing. Use a pot that’s one size larger with a fast draining soil and she’s good to go!

Beautiful plant! It does have a rough time with shipping, which is expected with this plant. It lost two whole leaves when it got here, a little water and sun, perked right up, then lost the largest leaf the day after. I am down to 4 leaves. Not bad, but not the shippers fault.
My first baby never arrived, but contacted them and immediately the issue was resolved. Friendly staff! She is beautiful. Thank you so much!
Beautiful, healthy plant in a great soil mix. I’ve had it for a little over a week and it’s already growing new foliage. Love it!
Arrived healthy looked elegant and unique looking. Packed well
I was so excited to receive this plant! It lost one leaf if shipping, but if you have done any research on this plant you know that is to be expected. I’ve had it for a few days now and she is thriving with some bright indirect light.
